Bahite

"Bahite" in Batangas language means without money as in empty pocket. Nothing at all. So I will translate it again so that our dear readers that don't speak Tagalog or Filipino or not a Batangueño can understand what I write here. As usual be very patient with my English because I am not so good in this kind of language.

"Kuya" in Filipino is respect to my older brother or the man a little bit older than me. "Kuya" means "my older brother" in a family but as respect to a person in our community even he is not my real brother and he is rather a little bit older than me, we use to call him "kuya"... this is just to take note my word "kuya" in the first sentence of this post.
Here we go:

"Kuya" don't have money in his pocket as always.... just because he did nothing the whole day rather than to sit under their house and talk to every by passer everything even it is nonsense things. Sometime even he has no money, he will go to the neighbor to play cards...to gamble. This is ridiculous, just because he let the whole day to pass as if he is like a dead shrimps in the river that just go with the flow of it.

What I can say to him is why not to exert a little bit effort to earn money for a living and not to waste the whole day doing nothing. You always dream of a good life but you are still so lazy that you don't want to stretch even one of your bones to make for a living. So what you really want to your life? Just remember that the abundant grace will not coming into your way.... you need to seek and to sweat it and do effort to gain it. Even you are always praying to God to have a good life but your still doing nothing to have it, it will be useless. Remember that we have a good saying in Batangas, " The mercy is in God but the effort is in human". Always remember that in Batangas... Laziness is Forbidden!!!

I don't know if I say it correctly but I hope that you get the real message.
